Nigerian singer Skales disclosed that he wrote several hit songs for Wizkid during their time at Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).
In an interview on “Curiosity Made Me Ask,” Skales mentioned co-writing songs on Wizkid’s debut album “Super Star,” including the bonus track “Wiz Party.”
Skales acknowledged Wizkid also wrote songs for him, including the hit “Mukulu.”
He emphasized the collaborative nature of EME, saying, “We used to write songs for each other… It was teamwork.”
Skales and Wizkid were among the first artists signed to EME by Banky W in the early 2010s.
They later left the label due to disagreements with Banky W.
