A single lady in the United Kingdom hanged herself after she struggled to cope with her female friends getting married while she failed to get a partner.
The 31-year-old Danielle Saul hanged herself after her constant worry over not finding a partner pushed her into depression and eventually to heavy consumption of alcohol.
A post-mortem examination showed that she had 162mg of alcohol in 100mg of blood, although the legal limit is 80mg.
Her friends and family recalled how she would use intense expressions like “I feel like dying” in conversations.
Before her death, Saul was invited to hen parties and served as bridesmaid to some her friends at their wedding.
Friends said the education and arts degree holder, who worked as a business development manager, had been ambitious, bright and fun-loving, but secretly was desperate to find a husband.
She killed herself in June 2015 after running into an old flame whom she invited over to her apartment.
Reports said she had been pushed over the edge after they failed to reconcile the next morning before the man took his leave.
