Popular Nigerian Alté musician, Bolaji Odojukan with the stage name, “BOJ”, says his new album , “Bariga Express”, will be released April 22.
Odojukan gave the hint during a news conference organised by Spotify, an online streaming platform, on Thursday in Lagos.
He said he had featured renowned artistes in the 14 track album, including Wizkid, Fireboy DML, Shaybo, Buju, Fresh L, Davido, Mr Eazi and Tiwa Savage among others.
He explained that the album was an account of his experience in a suburb called Bariga in Lagos, during the 2020 lockdown ocassioned by COVID-19 pandemic.
He said during this period, he felt frustrated and had to think out of the box to engage in other things that would make his life enjoy some level of progress.
According to him, he wants everyone listening to the musical album to draw inspiration on the need to always make headway even when there are obstacles.
“I got the inspiration to come up with my new album, “Bariga Express”, during the lockdown period in 2020, I want everyone listening to the music to know that we all need to make headway even when we come across some obstacles in life.
“Even during the lockdown, I was able to break myself loose from that bondage and make headway in life, we should not allow our obstacles to limit us.

“The album will be released April 22, I featured many renowned artistes and it is a 14 track album,” he said. (NAN)
