Simon Cowell Wants To ‘Clone His Beloved Pet Dogs with the Help of a South Korean Biotech Firm’

1 Min Read
Puppy love: Simon Cowell can't bear the thought of being parted from his pet dogs Squiddly and Diddly and reportedly wants to clone the dogs

He’s made no secret of his love of dogs, twice championing a crafty canine to win Britain’s Got Talent. And Simon Cowell is so obsessed with his own pet pooches Squiddly and Diddly that he is allegedly hoping to clone the Yorkshire Terriers using a biotech firm in South Korea.

The 55-year-old music mogul is said to be so impressed with Sooam Biotech, who famously created Britain’s first cloned dog, Winnie the dachshund that he wants to recreate the experiment with his own pets so they can live forever.

A source told the Daily Mirror’s Tom Bryant and Mark Jefferies: ‘Money is not an issue. Simon is determined to make it happen. ‘He has briefed aides and they are looking to see whether Sooam is a viable option.’

Simon adopted the dogs two years ago as puppies and already can’t bear to imagine life without them, so is reportedly hoping cloning could be the answer.
