A Borno State-based Anglican Church Reverend, Desmond Yunana, has said that God revealed to him that Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau is very ill.
TheCable reported Yunana as stating this during a sermon on Sunday.
The cleric noted that God showed him the critical state of the terror leader’s health in a “revelation” on Saturday night.
Yunana further stated that he also saw Shekau pleading with Christians and Muslims resident in Maiduguri for prayers, while stating that he was ready to seek “forgiveness”.
Recall that a captured teenage Boko Haram fighter, Mohammed Adam, had last month told security forces that Shekau could no longer work properly.
Adam, who is still in the custody of the military, further disclosed that Shekau got injured during an air bombardment on an insurgents’ camp in Tumbuktu, Sambisa forest in Borno State.

This came shortly after President Muhammadu Buhari vowed that insurgency would end this year.
Buhari, who spoke during the Juma’at Prayer for this year’s Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration at the National Mosque in Abuja, also assured that “this is a year of action and we will finish what we are doing.”
