Singer Crown Uzama, aka Shallipopi, has praised Olamide as the undisputed “king of Nigerian street music.”
In an interview with Naija FM, Shallipopi explained that he featured Olamide in his song “Order” due to his massive street popularity.
“Baddo [Olamide] is the father and king of Nigerian street music. So I had to feature him on ‘Order’ because it’s a street song and Olamide owns the street,” he said.
Shallipopi also confirmed his departure from Dapper Music, citing contract expiration, and denied any rift with his former label.
