In the wake of recent allegations suggesting that popular singer Shallipopi, also known as Crown Uzama, paid N9 million for “fake streams” to boost his songs on digital music charts, the artist has vehemently denied the claims. The accusations surfaced when an aspiring singer, Ebaide, accused a music influencer of scamming her with unfulfilled promises of boosting her music streams.
Ebaide claimed that she decided to avail of the service after being told that Shallipopi had allegedly utilized the same service for N9 million. The emerging artist asserted that the promised results were not delivered as agreed upon.
Shallipopi took to his X handle to address the accusations, dismissing them as “fake” and attributing them to individuals seeking attention through misleading content. In a straightforward response, he wrote, “Fake!! Y’all looking for attention with the wrong contents and think it’s right? 9m wey I go take chill make I leave Plutomanias to dey stream!! Anyways your Karma is coming.”
