Grammy-nominated Afrobeat star Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 have unleashed their latest single ‘Stand Well Well,’ now available on all digital platforms. Inspired by Aldous Huxley’s dystopian novel Brave New World, the scorching Afrobeat track takes aim at modern society’s conformity and the social hierarchies shaping today’s world.  Adding a special touch to the track, Made Kuti, Seun’s nephew and fellow Afrobeat musician, delivers a striking trumpet solo.

Following the success of ‘Dey‘ featuring Damian Marley and ‘T.O.P.’, this marks the third single from Seun Kuti & Egypt 80’s upcoming album Heavier Yet (Lays The Crownless Head), set for release on October 4th via Record Kicks.  In ‘Stand Well Well,’ Seun Kuti channels his signature fiery energy to challenge the status quo, comparing today’s world to Huxley’s chilling vision of the future. “Everything in the world today looks the same. The world is kind of reminding me of Brave New World,” Seun says.

With its pulsating rhythms and thought-provoking message, ‘Stand Well Well‘ is a bold anthem that adds yet another layer to Seun Kuti’s ongoing musical and social revolution.

Stand Well Well‘ is now available on all streaming platform
