Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, in a speech given during the inauguration of youth empowerment programme in Kwara, said that he will provide 40,000 direct jobs for residents of the state within four years.
Dr. Bukola Saraki, called on the Federal Government to create job opportunities for the unemployed Nigerians who are finding life very dificult as a result of the economic recession.
The Senate President urged everyone to buy into our locally made products so as to enhance productivity and economic growth.
He said, “It is our belief that made in Nigeria products will create opportunities for Nigerians who have products and services and they will be able to find market.
“We must think out of the box. These are challenging times for us as leaders and we must contribute our own quota to the development of the nation.”
