Dolphins are generally peace loving creatures. They are arguably the cutest, cuddliest and friendliest creatures of the sea. Only a few days ago, singer Seyi Shay was pictured swimming with dolphins and having the time of her life.
But this is Nigeria.
Literally anything could be food, which is why when one was caught in Delta state, it was immediately butchered and eaten.
The pictures of the lynching of the dolphin were posted on popular Nigerian forum Nairaland. Commenters weren’t too pleased with the killing of an animal that is considered friendly by most people.
