A gang of robbers, one of whom was a security guard have been arrested after killing a businessman and setting him ablaze in his car.
Rasheed Waheed 35, Ahmed Rafiu 33, Owolabi Bashiru 51 and Kayode 27, were responsible for the murder of Lagos businessman, Victor Akinbile, 48
The Osun state Police Commissioner, Fimihan Adeoye, said that the authorities were alerted to the problem by friends of the victim who was also robbed of N3m
The case was reported to the police on the 27th of November after friends worried that they were unable to reach Akinbile on the 26th

“The police team discovered that the gang consisted of four men, and that one of them happened to be a security guard who alerted his friend’s that Akinbile was in town.” said a report on the matter
According to reports, the gang was alerted to Akinbile’s whereabouts by his Security guard and then they stormed the residence, robbing him of N25,000 that happened to be on him before proceeding to forcing him to transfer N3m to the account of one of the thugs.
He was then driven to a secluded location where he and his car were set ablaze.
The Police were able to apprehend the security guard and his friends after following the money.
