Mr Felix Asuquo, a United States of America (USA) based Security Expert, says he will support the children of 4 slain police officers in Calabar.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) had earlier reported that four policemen were killed during the early hours of Feb. 25 in Idundu in the outskirts of Calabar by suspected hoodlums
Receiving the letter from Asuquo, the Cross River Commissioner of Police, CP Sikiru Akande, said the police would offer him all necessary assistance to fulfil his plans for the families of the slain policemen.
“This is quite commendable and we are impressed with what Mr Asuquo plans to do for the family of our fallen gallant men.

“I call on other well-meaning individuals and organisations to take a cue from Mr Asuquo and provide succour to the families of the late policemen,” he said
In a letter sent through the CP, Asuquo expressed his heartfelt condolences to members of the Police Force and families of the slain officers who were murdered while manning a police post.
The expert, who said it was a trying time for both security agencies and the public, noted that it was expedient for members of the public to assist in whatever way they could to boost the morale of the policemen.
“The killing of the policemen could further jeopardise the morale of the men of the force and destroy the welfare of the families if nothing was done urgently.
“As a security outfit keen in the maintenance of law and order in the country, I am seeking ways I can get in touch with the families of these four fallen heroes to consider the best way to provide educational support to their children.
“This is so that the impact of missing financial provision from their fathers will not be too harsh on them,” he said.
