A section of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) collapsed in the Ikotun area of Lagos today.
According to eyewitnesses no less than 50 persons were injured, although there is no confirmation of loss of life.
Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and other rescue services are at the scene.
The area of the building that collapsed is said to be a hostel that accommodates worshippers who travel long distances to attend programmes at the church.
