A Nigerian woman identified as Basisru Binuyo, a pilgrim, has excreted six more wraps of cocaine pellets following the earlier excreted 76 pellets.
The woman’s arrest comes after three Nigerian pilgrims from Kwara state were arrested in Saudi Arabia for possession of the illegal substance.
According to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in a statement Saturday, the woman will be “severely sanctioned” in line with the anti-narcotics laws of the land.
The NDLEA commander, Hamisu Lawan, said while confirming the total number of pellets ingested by the woman: “Mrs Binuyo Basari Iyabo while under observation expelled eighty-two wraps of cocaine weighing nine hundred and thirty-one (931) grammes.
“All arrangements have been concluded for her prosecution.”
