Super Eagles star player, Victor Moses has vowed to put up an impressive performance to help Nigeria go far at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
According to thenff.com, the winger made this known when he was presented with his AITEO-NFF Football Awards Player of the Year gong by NFF second Vice President, Shehu Dikko.
The award was presented to the Chelsea player at the club’s Cobham training ground during the week.
Responding to the award, Moses said, “I am simply over the moon with this award.
“It means that the country and the people really appreciate the little we are doing for the National Team.
“I am looking forward to doing much more for Nigeria at the FIFA World Cup finals in Russia.”
Moses was named winner at the Awards ceremony on February 19, edging out Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi and Lobi Stars’ Anthony Okpotu.
Dignitaries at the event included FIFA President, Gianni Infantino and his CAF counterpart Ahmad Ahmad, Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa and Francis Peters, the Deputy Managing Director, Aiteo Group.
