Mrs Olajumoke Adebayo, wife of Mr Solomon Adebayo, has asked an Oyo State High Court sitting at Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, to dissolve her seven-year-old marriage over her husband’s negligence.
She told the court that she got married to her husband on May 18, 2006 at the Ibadan South-West Local Government registry, Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
Olajumoke told the court that they both reside at MW8/1878, Ajeigbe area of Ibadan.
She added that her husband travelled out of the country in December 2006 and only communicated with her for three months, and that she had not heard from him since then.
Olajumoke, who said she had no child for her husband, prayed the court to dissolve their marriage, saying she was getting older and needed to remarry.
The husband was not present in court.
Justice Aderonke Aderemi adjourned the case for further hearing.
