Legendary striker, Ronaldo has warned Manchester United against hastily sacking manager Jose Mourinho and replacing him with Zinedine Zidane.
The 41-year-old Brazilian said this following mounting pressure on Mourinho, whose United side lost back-to-back Premier League games against Brighton and Tottenham Hotspur.
Zidane is believed to be suitable to replace Mourinho as he is currently out of job having quit as manager of Real Madrid days after lifting his third UEFA Champions League trophy in two and half years.
However, Mourinho defended his record on Friday, saying he was still one of the greatest managers in the world.

This is coming on the back of reports in France that Zidane was eyeing a move to the Premier League and hoping to replace Mourinho at Old Trafford.
Speaking on the United situation, Ronaldo told La Gazzetta dello Sport, ” Idon’t know what’s happening in Manchester, but wait before criticising Mourinho.
“He’s special and he’s won a lot.”

Ronaldo, who has played for Barcelona, Inter Milan and Real Madrid, also weighed in on Juventus’s surprising capture of namesake Cristiano Ronaldo.
He warned the club against expecting CR7’s signing to automatically end their European woes.
Ronaldo said, “Juventus] are a really strong side,’ said the 41-year-old.
“They’ve reached the final twice recently and Ronaldo is going to strengthen them, but the Champions League is not easy. Signing Ronaldo doesn’t automatically mean you win it.
“What you cannot deny is that it’s a huge signing – unthinkable – but nobody can predict what will happen and how the balance will change.
“I wish him all the best. He will see what a beautiful country he’s arrived in, and I love Italy. He’s going to enjoy a great adventure.”
