The Portuguese and Real Madrid superstar Christiano Ronaldo has equalled a European record.
The striker has now scored 9 goals in the Euros bringing him level with Michel Platini who also has 9 to his name, although Platini scored all his goals in one tournament.
Ronaldo hit the milestone in the second half of the first semi-final against Wales when he powered a header home to fire Portugal to the final of the Euros.
While equal with Platini, he is the first player to play in 3 Euros Semi-finals, he’s played the most games in the competition (20) and he’s also the first to score in 4 different tournaments.
