Renowned Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo, widely known as RMD, recently delved into the intricacies of maintaining faithfulness in marriage during an interview with popular comedian Teju Babyface. The veteran actor opened up about the complexities and challenges that married men face in staying faithful to their partners.
RMD acknowledged the difficulty of remaining faithful in a world where married men often find themselves as targets of unwanted attention, particularly from individuals with ulterior motives. Drawing parallels to biblical figures like Jezebel and Delilah, who schemed against male characters, he highlighted the persistent allure of such women.
RMD suggested that the only effective defense against these advances is to confront them with unwavering strength and determination. He likened this struggle to that of an army commander facing adversity on the battlefield, emphasizing the importance of resilience.
Furthermore, RMD offered advice to fellow men, urging them to support their spouses during these challenging times and remain vigilant against the influence of women with intentions akin to Jezebel’s.
He shared, “It is very hard, let’s face it. Every one of us that is married, we are the target, I mean look at women, how can we escape it. Women are like Jezebel, they are like Delilah.
