When the Peoples Republic of China is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is the huge population.
A country of 1.386 billion people (2017 estimates) is surely hard to miss.
But the East Asian nation’s mammoth population, the largest in the world, is not the only remarkable thing about her.
The country also leads the world in the production of at least 25 commodities, thanks to this huge population and her government’s implementation of sound economic policies.
Some of the commodities include: Rice, Wheat, Lettuce, Cabbage, Cauliflowers, Eggplant, Potato, Spinach, Carrots, Cucumber, Pumpkin and Sweet potato.
Others include Grapes, Peach, Apple, Plum, Strawberry, Tomato, Tea, Beer, Pork meat, Sheep meat, Peanut, Egg and Honey.
