Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau was the target of scores of angry protesters who demanded his resignation on Tuesday night.
The protesters stormed the Sheraton Hotels and the Earth and Table Bread Bar in in Hamilton, a port city in the Canadian province of Ontario, where a cabinet retreat held on Monday and Tuesday.
The 39-member cabinet met at the luxury hotel ahead of the resumption of parliamentary sittings next week.
Journalist, Harrison Faulkner shared a video showing the protesters waving Canadian flags and chanting.
Some of the protesters could also be heard calling the PM a “traitor”, among other uncomplimentary sobriquets, to which Trudeau only smiled and waved, while many more simply called on him to resign.

According to National Post, the protesters were mostly standard-bearers for the Freedom Convoy, the protest that began last year as a reaction to federal COVID-19 mandates, but has now morphed into an all-purpose anti-Trudeau political movement.
However, Trudeau said in a press conference that his government would not be intimidated by the protesters.
“We’re not going to let a handful of angry people interfere with the democratic process,” the prime minister told reporters on Wednesday.
