According to a government source, one of the girls kidnapped from Chibok by the Boko Haram Islamist-Jihadist group in 2014 has been rescued near Sambisa Forest.
The rescued girl identified as Amina Ali Mkeki, was found in the Kulakeita area in the company of her Boko Haram husband according to reports and was rescued immediately by vigilantes who in turn handed her over to the Nigerian troops in Damboa.
The rescued girl has however made shocking claims as she was reported to have told the Soldiers that six of the girls which were also kidnapped in 2014 have died. She further revealed that many others have been married off to Boko Haram commanders although they were all still in Sambisa forest as at the time of her rescue.
The shocking claims made by the rescued abducted girl confirms the fear of some Nigerians who believed some of the girls might have been killed off in the months following their abduction from their school.
The rescued girl was reported to have been breastfeeding when she was rescued but it has not yet been confirmed if the Boko Haram commander who was caught during the rescue operation was the father of the baby.
