Amina, the recently rescued Chibok Girl

Following the rescue of one of the Chibok girls abducted in 2014 by the Boko Haram insurgents, a new revelation has surfaced.

The girl, Amina Ali, who was rescued in company of a Boko Haram kingpin referred to as Amir was with a baby and following identification by the vigilante group was handed over to the military.

Amina Ali who was rescued on Tuesday night in Bale village at the edge of the Sambisa forest by a Chibok vigilante group is now 19 years of age, with a baby in hand and following medical check up has been confirmed to be four-months pregnant.

Amina, revealing the whereabouts of other abducted girls broke the sad news that six of them were already dead while others have been married off to the terrorists’ commanders.

Explaining the condition in custody of the Boko Haram insurgents, she said: “They are well secured and protected to stop the Nigerian Army from rescuing them,”

According to Vanessa Gar, a mother of one of the abducted Chibok girls, “The vigilantes agreed and the captured terrorists took them to a house in Bale. Many women were in the house.

“One of the vigilantes, who surveyed the faces of women in the house, paid special attention to Amina. He realised that she looked like the people from one of the Chibok communities. He spoke to her in their local dialect and she responded,”
