House of Representatives has summoned Godswill Akpabio, Minister of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and Joy Nunieh, former Acting Managing Director of the commission.
The Reps made the summon over allegations of fraud in the commission going up to N40billion.
This is coming after President Muhammadu Buhari called for a forensic audit into the activities of the commission.
The House Committee on NDDC has ordered both Akpabio and Nunieh to appear before an investigative panel on the missing N40billion funds.
The Herald on Thursday reported that Pondei, Managing Director walked out on the committee after insisting that Olubunmi Ojo, Panel Chairman step down from the position.
