A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has said that President Bola Tinubu stands a very good chance of being re-elected in 2027 if can deliver true federalism and state police in his first term.
Omokri, who was a social media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, said this in an X post on Sunday.
He said that Tinubu could find himself playing second fiddle to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the 2027 presidential race if he fails to deliver in two key areas.
“If Tinubu can deliver true federalism and state police, nothing can stop him from being re-elected in 2027.
“If he fails to provide it, Nigerians will turn to Waziri Atiku in 2027.
“And, as long as Peter Obi does not contest again, the Waziri can win.
“However, if Peter Obi contests again, 2027 will end like 2023. God sparing all our lives until then. Life and death being the only things we cannot control,” Omokri.
