Reno Omokri Mocks Rochas Okorocha Over Appointment of Sister

2 Min Read

After the appointment of his sister, Mrs Ogechi Ololo as the Commissioner for Happiness, Governor Rochas Okorocha came under fire from Nigerians– celebrities and social commentator alike for this move with many finding it incredible that he would do such a thing.

No one’s criticism was more scathing than that of the former media aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri who slated Okorocha whom in his opinion had “spent more money on Statues than he has on living human beings”.

He took to Twitter to take on the Governor saying; Rochas Okorocha, a man who has spent more money on statues than he has on living human beings has now appointed his biological sister as “Commissioner for Happiness and Couples’ Fulfillment”. What sin did Imo people commit to deserve this embarrassment as their Governor?

He wasn’t done as he also stated that Okorocha is the reason he champions political leaders getting a psychiatric evaluation before taking office saying; Rochas Okorocha is a perfect example of why all aspirants to high office in Nigeria should submit themselves to psychiatric evaluation!

Recall that Okorocha had commissioned statues for African leaders Jacob Zuma and Ellen Sirleaf which had been hugely criticised as people questioned why leaders who weren’t even Nigerian and who were of questionable moral standing were getting such a high level of recognition.

Check out Reno’s tweets below.
