Songs of Afro Beat artistes Rema, Burna Boy, Fireboy DML and Dave – all Nigerians have been featured on the FIFA 2021 soundtrack playlist.

 

With this auspicious development, Gamers and lovers of Afro Beats will be in for a great treat as this will be the first time hit songs from the artistes will feature on the interactive game.

Earlier in August, one song from Rema had been rumoured to have been included in the soundtrack playlist of the football game.

FIFA esports host and presenter, ChuBoi dropped this teaser on twitter which Don Jazzy confirmed that Rema’s song could be one of the soundtracks in the new FIFA video game.

 

He wrote, “Looks like @heisrema (afrobeat artist) has a FIFA kit meaning he should be on the #FIFA21 soundtrack. Naija representin’.

Well done @DONJAZZY if so!  “.

It is true, when they say; there’s no smoke without fire as it can now be confirmed that not only songs from Rema but also music from Burna Boy, Dave and Fireboy DML have featured on the Game.
