Nigerian singer Rema (Divine Ikubor) has dismissed rumors of devil worship.
In a recent episode of the “Kids Take Over” podcast, Rema shared the craziest rumor he’s seen online about himself.
“They say I worship the devil,” Rema said, laughing. “It’s crazy. I didn’t respond to it because it’s not important. It’s a waste of time.”
Rema clarified that symbols in his art are from Edo culture, not satanic.
He also discussed collaborating with Drake on “Mention Me” in 2020.
“I’m happy to work with a legend like Drake. If we take our time, we’ll make something huge,” Rema said.
