The Reformed All Progressives Congress (rAPC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other leading opposition parties have met to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
Leaders of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) also joined in signing the MoU in Abuja on Monday.
While rAPC National Chairman, Buba Galadima led his group to the meeting, the PDP delegation included Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel.
Sen. Dino Melaye (APC – Kogi West) was also at the meeting.
A leading member of the PDP and former senator, Sen. Ben Obi said the parties came together to fashion out modalities to defeat Buhari and the APC in 2019.
