The much revered El-Clasico is coming up this weekend and a common question is whether Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui will still have a job by then.
The former Spain coach took over at the beginning of the season even getting fired from the Spain job after his appointment was announced even while still in charge of the National team.
While the Los Blancos started the season well winning their first 3 games, things have since nose dived with the Madrid club suffering some chastening defeats.

This has led to many speculating that Lopetegui will not be long in the job and will face the sack soon,
However, it will not be before the El-Clasico.
According to Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno, the Spaniard will be in charge at the weekend, “Lopetegui will sit on the bench at Camp Nou as normal,” he told Movistar. “In these kind of situations, it is important to remain calm and trust the players. Sunday’s game is a great motivation for us.”
Pressed for more answers on the Lopetegui rumours, Butragueno added: “It is normal. This is football. We have heard the rumours, but we have confidence and hopefully we will play well at Camp Nou.”
