Real Madrid Release Statement on Neymar

Real Madrid have for the second time this summer been forced to release a statement about a player after they released a statement regarding the alleged rumors that they are in for Neymar

Earlier in the summer, Real Madrid had released a statement denying that they are in to sign teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe

Madrid sold Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus and it is expected that Madrid will replace one Galactico with another.

The Mbappe rumours have not gone away and it is likely that neither will the Neymar ones.

It has also been rumoured that the Madrid outfit could also go for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

The Blues have finally parted ways with manager Antonio Conte and Hazard has been unsettled. It is unsure the Belgian will still be a Chelsea player by the end of the summer.

The statement released by Real Madrid regarding Neymar read: “Given the constant information linking the PSG player Neymar with our club, Real Madrid CF wants to clarify that it has no plans to make any offers for the player,” a club statement read.

“The relationship between the two clubs is extraordinary, so that, if at some point Real Madrid were considering signing a PSG player, the first thing it would do would be to go to his club.”

Neymar was also in the World cup with Brazil where they were knocked out in the Quarter-finals by Belgium, but Neymar ends the competition with 2 goals (against Mexico and Costa Rica)

The Brazilian only left the La Liga 12 months ago when he swapped Barcelona for Paris in a deal worth a mind-boggling  €222m (£195m/$260m)

It has been reported that the Brazilian might be the highest paid player in the World if he is offered a new deal with PSG who will be desperate to ward off interest by Madrid in their star man.
