Real Madrid has reacted to rumors that they are in pursuit of 19-year-old French sensation Kylian Mbappe, stating that they aren’t in for him.
The Spanish giants in a statement denied reports that they have lodged a €272 million (£239m/$316m) bid for Mbappe which PSG accepted.
The striker has been in blistering form at the World Cup scoring 3 goals so far including two against former World Cup champions Argentina
Real Madrid in their statement said: “Given the information published in the last few hours referring to an alleged agreement between Real Madrid and PSG for player Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid says they are flatly false,” a statement read.
“Real Madrid has not made any offers to PSG or the player and regrets the dissemination of this type of information that is not contrasted with the parties.”
The PSG striker has struck 21 times in 44 games for the French club in his debut season and is set to consolidate on that in his sophomore season.
