Spanish giants, Real Madrid have reportedly lined up big money moves against next season, earmarking more than £260 million on transfers.
The La Liga, UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup title holders are reportedly plotting to overhaul their squad with the addition of Neymar, Eden Hazard and Harry Kane.
According to The Sun UK, quoting Marca, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema could leave the club at the end of the current season to make way for the expected arrivals.
Aside Hazard, Neymar and Kane, Madrid’s President, Florentino Perez is believed to also be interested in landing Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.
Perez supervised signing of big-name players for the club in the early 2000s, bringing in players like Luis Figo, Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo De Lima and David Beckham.
However, in his second stint at the helms, he decided to gravitate towards development of young players, which has succeeded so far until this season, where the club has been knocked out of the Copa Del Rey and have fallen 19 points behind bitter rivals, Barcelona.
Perez is believed to be interested in reverting to the Galactico era, where a big name player is added to the squad every season.
However, it is left to be seen if Perez can persuade Paris Saint Germain, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich to sell their prized assets.
