The senator representing Kaduna Central senatorial district in the National Assembly, Sen. Shehu Sani, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his naming as “African Anti-Corruption Champion”.
Recall that Buhari over the weekend participated in the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where he met former President Olusegun Obasanjo for the first time after the latter wrote a 13-page letter advising him against seeking reelection in 2019.
Buhari also delivered a lecture on the scourge of corruption in Africa, saying the continent loses more than $50 billion annually to the menace.
Taking to his verified Twitter handle on Monday, Sani, the All Progressives Congress (APC) senator said, “Congratulations to President Buhari for his appointment as Africa’s anti corruption Czar.”
