American rapper, Silento, who is best known for his debut 2015 single “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae),” was arrested on one count of murder on Monday.
According to TMZ, Silento was arrested for the murder of his cousin Frederick Rooks, 34. On January 21, the DeKalb County Police Department investigated Rooks’ death after he was found shot on Deep Shoals Circle.
Police discovered Frederick Rooks deceased in the earl hours of January 21 with several gunshot wounds to the chest. 8 bullet casings were recovered from the scene.

This won’t be the first time Silento has been arrested. The rapper was previously arrested and hit with two felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon last summer after he entered a home with a hatchet while searching for his girlfriend.
