Director of Radio Biafra and Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has been granted bail after being jailed for over 72 hours.
The Biafra agitator who was detained at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Isolo after arriving into the country over the weekend was given bail in the sum of N2 million and a surety that must be a grade level 16 civil servant.
Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, Mr. Egechukwu Obetta, had complained to reporters that his lawyer was kept in the same cell as terrorists.
Kanu once said that if Nigerians do not allow the people of Biafra right of self determination that he will turn the country to Somalia.
