2 Min Read

The carousel that is the R.Kelly scandal goes round and round as another alleged victim has stepped out to claim that the singer is intimidating her.

The woman, Faith Rodgers, 21, like many others, claimed that R.Kelly had tried to intimidate her after she came forward with her own claims against the singer.

Rodgers filed a lawsuit against the ‘Storm is Over’ singer in New York’s Supreme Court claiming that apart from threats and intimidation, the singer also gave her an STD.

While speaking, Rodgers said: “Robert Kelly, the Faith Rodgers you knew, that you met when I was 19 years old, she no longer exists, she was vulnerable and impressionable.”

Also commenting on the case, Rodgers attorney, Gloria Allred, said that she has proof that the popular singer has been intimidating her client.

“In response to Faith’s lawsuit, Mr. Kelly retaliated against her by threatening to reveal what he alleges are details of her sex life,” she said. “In addition, he has posted private photos of her.”

Allred added: “We have an appointment today with the New York City Police Department, who has asked to meet with Faith in furtherance of their investigation into potential victims of R. Kelly,”

The singer has been in the spotlight for several years over allegations from several people that he engages in sexual acts with underaged girls. Things got worse after the release of the Lifetime documentary “Surviving R. Kelly.”

The singer’s lawyer on the other hand, came out to defend his client, “We know what happened, and we know those things didn’t happen,” he said. “The man was not operating a harem, a sex cult, or holding people hostage, or anything like that.”
