US President Donald Trump has wished President-elect Joe Biden a quick recovery following a domestic injury.
The president-elect had twisted his ankle playing with his dog, Major, officials said.
Major is one of two German shepherds he owns with his wife, Jill.
The officials said the 78-year-old was scheduled for an appointment with an orthopaedist “out of the abundance of caution”.
The president shared a tweet wishing his incoming successor a quick recovery while quoting a tweet of the video of the president-elect leaving an appointment with the orthopaedist.
