Students and faculty of the prestigious Queens College, Yaba came out in full force to support their lecturer, Mr. Olaseni Oshifala, who was accused sexual harassment in an anonymous petition to Lailas Blog.
The show of support by the students who carried placards with messages like “Olaseni is not a paedophile”, “If he goes, the A’s are gone, vindicate Seni!!!”, “No Mother, No Daughter, No Case. Free Seni”.
The last slogan has put forward the fact that there seems to be no official police report or even report from a parent to school authorities concerning the allegations.
It also lends credence to the belief that there is no actual grievance of sexual harassment against the teacher.
