How PSquare Makes Almost N200 million every year from Uber

1 Min Read

The most successful musical group in Africa, PSquare comprising of twins Peter and Paul Okoye are also reportedly extremely savvy businessmen.

The duo have interests that span real estate, media and from what Herald Weekend gathered, transportation.

According to a source in Uber, the duo have over 35 vehicles plying the streets of Lagos to aid the transportation needs of Africa’s busiest and most populous city.

By our calculations, the average Uber driver makes N100,000 on average each week. With 35 cars on the beat, this means the Okoye’s are grossing approximately N182 million from the transport arm of their businesses alone.

Recently Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote paid the twins a visit at the mansion owned by Peter and Lola Okoye.

Perhaps Peter was giving Alhaji some tips on how to make it big in the transportation sector, or maybe negotiating some cheap petrol rates for his fleet in order to maximize profits.
