PSG plan Zidane Snatch and Grab

2 Min Read

Zinedine Yazid Zidane, retired French Midfielder and current Manager of Real Madrid, might be up for a transfer to top French side, PSG.

In the event of a termination of contract at Real Madrid, Zidane would likely to be the replacement for Unai Emery, the current Manager of Paris Saint-Germain.

Unai Emery was at the verge of losing his job at PSG over the summer after losing the league to rivals, As Monaco.

PSG also had an unpleasant spell in the champion’s league which saw Barcelona overturn a 4-0 aggregate lead to knock Emery’s side out of the campaign.

The French team were big underachievers after failing to reach the Quarter finals of the campaign despite being initially regarded as strong contenders for the trophy.

Zidane has enjoyed an amazing spell in charge of the Spanish side, Real Madrid. Since succeeding Rafa Benitez in 2016, he won two (2) Champion’s league titles as hallmarks of his Managerial career.

The defending champions have had a rather unpleasant start to the current La Liga season, falling seven (7) points behind league leaders, Barcelona after five (5) games.

Despite the 1-0 defeat to Real Betis in the last match-week, Zidane has claimed that he is calm and not bothered by the result.

Spanish newspaper, Confidencial says “Zidane could be in line to take reins at PSG”
