Paris Saint-Germain are planning to hold talks with David Beckham, regarding a deal extension, club chairman, Nasser al-Khelaifi, has confirmed.
The former England international signed a five-month deal with PSG, when he arrived at the Parc des Princes in January, which is due to expire at the end of the season.
“We are going to talk with him about it. But frankly, we really want to keep him with us next season,” the Qatari sports businessman told L’Equipe.
“He’s fantastic, on and off the pitch. Signing David has been one of my best decisions.”
“He’s an outstanding person, as a player, as an ambassador. He has really made an impact in this squad. Everybody loves him.”
Beckham has distanced himself from comments regarding his future in Paris saying he is fully focused on ending the campaign on a high.
