Angel Di Maria celebrated his 100th champions league game in style scoring two as Paris Saint Germain trumps Real Madrid 3-0 on Wednesday night to kick off a perfect start to the new UEFA champions league season.

Di Maria scored twice against his former employers to give PSG a comfortable night while heaping more pressure on the already under-pressure Real manager, Zinedine Zidane.
Zidane who enjoyed a blistering first tenure as the Blancos manager winning three straight champions league trophy [a record] in the process has not enjoyed the same success since returning to the Bernabeu late last season with a win ratio that is less than 50 percent.
Notably enough, Zidane tried to sign the likes of Paul Pogba, Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappe all moves which prove abortive. The only notable addition to the team is Eden Hazard who transferred from Chelsea FC in the summer.
Hazard, of course, showed off some beautiful touches in the game but the general outlook of the Real side just didn’t inspire enough to pose any form of threat for the in-form Ligue One champions, albeit without the Neymar Jr., and Kylian Mbappe in the line up on the night.
The Argentine, Di Maria opened the scoring with a close-range shot that crept inside Thibaut Courtois’ near post from Juan Bernat’s pass.
While Real’s Belgian goalkeeper Courtois appeared to be caught out for the opening goal, he could do nothing to prevent the second.
Thomas Meunier’s stoppage-time goal added more embarrassment for the Spanish giants
