Paris Saint-Germain players have had a cash carrot dangled in front of them ahead of this week’s meeting with Chelsea.
The French giants take on the Blues at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg on Wednesday night and each player will be given €250,000 if they are successful.
Several French newspapers suggest that Laurent Blanc’s men have been offered the financial reward in a bid to push through to the quarter-finals of Europe’s premier club competition.
It is believed that the PSG players have already been paid €100,000 each for getting past the group stages and the fiscal booty will increase to €750,000 if they reach the final in Berlin and a further €1million if they are crowned European champions.
