A former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, who was in recent time a critic of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration seemed to have repented as he called on the Nigeria’s first citizen to settle the crises that allegedly brewed in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Reports have claimed that the crisis on Monday, October 14, erupted at President Buhari’s home as his wife, Aisha, battled the family of Mamman Daura, the president’s nephew.
Fani-Kayode who turned himself to a peace maker called on the president to protect his wife from her attackers, saying he would not allow anybody to insult nor attack his wife.
The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said: “No matter what she does or what she subjects me to I will never allow anyone to disrespect my wife in the way that Fatima disrespected Aisha Muhammadu Buhari.
“It is a matter of honor. As long as she is under my roof she has my protection even when she errs. Buhari please protect your wife.”
