In response to the recent investigative documentary by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) on the late Prophet TB Joshua, Nigerian artist Victor AD took to social media platform X to vehemently defend the integrity of the renowned clergyman.
Victor AD, known for hits like “Wetin We Gain,” shared a heartfelt post on X, questioning the authenticity of the allegations raised in the BBC documentary. He started his post by humorously asking, “Prophet TB Joshua fake ke? 😂,” implying disbelief in the claims made against the deceased founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).
The artist went on to recount personal experiences, crediting TB Joshua with miraculous interventions in his life and his family members. He narrated instances where TB Joshua reportedly played a pivotal role in healing him from a skin disease at the age of 6, restoring his mother’s hand, which was at risk of amputation due to a gunshot wound, and healing his sister from blindness during her primary school days.
Victor AD also highlighted TB Joshua’s benevolence during a challenging time for his family, emphasizing that the late prophet provided shelter and sustenance when they were homeless. The artist concluded his post with a strong affirmation of faith, stating, “God is not a man. Say whatever you like. E no go change God from being God.”
The BBC documentary, released after two years of investigation, accused TB Joshua of heinous acts, including rape, sexual perversion, and involvement in occult practices.
