Indigenous People of Bifara (IPOB) gathered in South Africa for a peaceful protest at the venue of the China-Africa summit.
The youths displayed placards and Biafran flags, calling for the release of Radio Biafra director, Nnamdi Kanu and also for the breakaway of Biafra.
President Muhammadu Buhari who will return to Abuja today was also at the conference.
Chinese President Xi Jinping assured African leaders that his country would pump $60 billion into development projects, cancel some debt and boost agriculture under a three-year plan that will extend Beijing’s influence in Africa during the summit.
