The senator representing Kaduna Central senatorial district in the National Assembly, Sen. Shehu Sani, has asked Nigerians to question other members of the National Council on Privatisation under the Olusegun Obasanjo administration and stop focusing only on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who chaired the council.
Sani, a Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) senator, made this known in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Friday morning.
He wondered why only Atiku continues to take the blame for “auctioning” off many of the nation’s assets while other members of the council, many of whom now occupy top positions in the present government, remain untouched.
The senator said, “As you continue to throw mud on the ex Vice President for his role in auctioning our public owned companies, don’t forget to throw some on ‘his accomplices’ who now occupy the comfortable seat of saints in the ruling party, in Nigeria’s prevailing priggish & sententious politics.”
