Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko has urged medical practitioners to prioritise patient welfare and not turn their backs on them.
The Governor said this during a dinner in honour of the National Executive Committee members of the Association of Government General Medical and Dental practitioners at the Government House, Akure.
He said his administration has been able to evolve a system that made the most vulnerable in the society have access to quality healthcare.
He added that the state government had been able to address road traffic accidents, especially on the highways by procuring many state of the art ambulances and accident rescue equipment coupled with trained personnel.
