Prime Minister Boris Johnson Hospitalised Over Serious Coronavirus Symptoms

British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has been admitted to hospital over worsening Coronavirus symptoms.

This is coming just 10 days after the Prime Minister tested positive and was placed on Isolation.

A spokeswoman for 10, Downing Street told the BBC that Mr. Johnson’s symptoms has been deteriorating over time.

“He continues to have persistent symptoms of coronavirus”, she said.

The hospitalisation of the Prime Minister was seen as a health safety measure advised by his personal physician.

The Prime Minister’s office however said that Mr. Johnson remained in charge of the Government.

It also advised the general public to continue to adhere to its social distancing rules.

“On the advice of his doctor, the prime minister has tonight been admitted to hospital for tests,” the spokeswoman said.

“This is a precautionary step, as the prime minister continues to have persistent symptoms of coronavirus ten days after testing positive for the virus. She continued.

She further extended the gratitude of the Prime Minister to Staff of the National Health Service (NHS) for their hard work.

The prime minister thanks NHS staff for all of their incredible hard work and urges the public to continue to follow the government’s advice to stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives.”

Prime Minister, Boris Johnson was last seen in public when he announced that he had tested positive to the Coronavirus on March 27.

The UK currently has 47, 806 confirmed Coronavirus cases with 4,934 deaths and 135 recoveries.
